We wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the work of Brian during our recent service call on Feb. 25, 2011. We had a serious problem in that the thermo coupling was badly melted and therefore the fire would not light. Brian replaced this, reset the logs, plus cleaned the glass front of the fireplace. In order to get access to the fireplace he had to cut two metal clips holding the front of the fireplace in place that were not accessible due to the tiling around the fireplace. He replaced these with 2 small screws (which he painted black) and these were almost invisible at the completion of the repair.

We were very impressed with Brian's knowledge and careful workmanship and we wanted to let you know.

I certainly enjoyed cooking on the Big Green Egg at the recent Eggfest. I had never seen one let alone cook on one. I must say it the best over all cooker and grill I have ever used. You can use it as a grill as well as a smoker. We set it up to smoke and with out adding any charcoal we maintained 300 degrees +/- 4 degree's from 9:00am until 3:30pm with out touching the smoker. We also cooked ribs and won first place in the Eggfest cooking contest. Highly recommend this product.

Last spring we hired your company to install a chimney liner. At that time, my husband contacted you to advise how pleased we were with the professionalism of your staff. In Sept, we had a routine inspection and cleaning, at which time it was recommended we deal with some cracks that had developed in the chimney. Digital camera photos are helpful! Again, great customer service. We opted for the $800 fix. The two gentlemen who did this work were, once again, very professional. One thing that stood out for me: yesterday, when the worker knocked on my front door to let me know they were done (and payment was due) - I opened the front door to find him standing back from it a respectful distance, not hovering "too close for comfort" to my open door. We will happily recommend you to others. Thanks for jobs well-done. I don't anticipate any problems, but I have faith that any concerns that might arise in the future will be dealt with in the same professional manner.

Jason,

I called the store on Wednesday, 3 November, to report a problem with my Quadrafire pellet stove. When I got home from work on Thursday, 4 November, there was a message from Kris stating he could come out on the 18th to fix the stove. Kris was extremely friendly, professional, and courteous on the phone. After I described the problem, he told me it was a faulty ingnitor and apologized profusely for the delay in getting it serviced.

I asked if I could replace it myself and he told me that it is relatively easy to do and that he would even give me the part for free and demonstrate how to do it when I got to the store. As I was pulling out of my driveway the phone rang and it was Kris saying he was on his way to the house and would take care of it today. He showed up about 20 minutes later and 20 minutes after that had me up and running.

This level of customer service is WAY beyond what I had hoped for and far exceeded my expectations. Kris deserves to be rewarded for his professionalism and customer-first attitude. Kris personifies the high-level of service that Sunfire is known for within the community.

I have been dealing with Sunfire and Jason for three years now and I have never been upset with the service they have provided. I would recommend them to anybody, and hope I will be able to afford a second pellet stove from them in the furniture. If I do get one, it will be from them for sure!

"It's been about one year since we had our Quadra fire 7100 wood burning fireplace installed in our new home. We are very pleased with the appearance and function of the unit. Our heating bill averaged only about $100 per month in a 2700 sq. ft. home due to the heat put out by the fireplace. I suspect we could have reduced it even further had we been more diligent in burning. Another bonus is the minimal smoke produced by the fireplace since it is reburning its own smoke...you can barely see any evidence the unit is burning from the outside which is great for the environment!
