The Sunfire EGGfest begins with the traditional "Lighting of the Eggs". Food will be available all day. Just wander from Egg to Egg to sample foods, discuss recipes and techniques with the cooks.
10:30 AM: Big Green Egg 101 Demo (For those extra green EGGHeads)
11:30 AM: Baking Demo & "Sittin' Chicken" Demo
Noon - 2:00 PM: Lynn Routzhan Live
12:30 PM: Grilling Demo
2:30 PM: Uniquely EGGcellent Contest deadline to vote
3:00 PM: Crowning of the 2010 Sunfire EGGfest Uniquely EGGcellent Winner!
3:00 PM: Begin shutting down the Demo Eggs to allow for sufficient cooling time
4:00 PM: Ceremonial Closing of a Sunfire EGGfest to remember!
Sunfire EGGfest Activities
Begin your Sunfire EGGfest Eggsperience with the Meet & Greet! Saturday morning of the Sunfire EGGfest, all registered Egg demonstrators are invited to enjoy donuts, coffee and juice on our outdoor deck. This will be a chance to meet and renew acquaintances with fellow EGGheads. At 9am the event starts with the traditional lighting of the Eggs!
Walk around throughout the day and EGGsperience wonderful Egg food. Feel free to talk to the cooks and discuss recipes and techniques. There will be demonstrations and "classes" throughout the day, door prizes, live music and a "Uniquely EGGcellent" contest. Please see the schedule of events for details. This is an event not to be missed!
